What is Fasha?
Fasha is a Burundian Canadian support network for prosperity!
This means that it is an organization whose objective is to support the integral prosperity of Canadians of Burundian origin!
Fasha means help in Kirundi, the language of Burundi!
This means that we decided to bring together Burundian men and women who have immigrated to Canada, so that they can help each other on their glorious journey towards prosperity in Canada!
We have very high expectations, and we are aware of the related challenges, but we know we will get there! We know we will succeed!
Objective
The Fasha network will be a tool, a formidable leverage that will help Burundian Canadians to take the big leap towards to a bright future they deserve as a community here in Canada!
Our Values
We will use these cardinal values to succeed in our mission:
-We are going to use Ubushingantahe (that is to say good governance in Kirundi, the language of Burundi) in everything we do!
-And we are going to be business oriented!
As we have seen, our main objective is to boost business between Burundian Canadians and to boost business in general in this group!
-In Fasha, we are going to target efficiency! We’re going to talk about issues relating to the development of Burundian Canadians!
So, it is forbidden to come and talk about the politics of Burundi!
-In Fasha, we are business oriented, which means we are inclusive! No divisionism here please!
